CliC EURO Magnetic Closure Reading Glasses

The new EURO is the latest in CliC's fashion-forward line of magnetic closure reading glasses.

They have a new lens shape that is wider and not as high, a more curved temple, and a totally new expandable wide plastic side arm (no metal arms).

The color schemes are unusual as well. There are two fairly conventional colors: matte black and dark transparent tortoise. Then there are two more unusual colors: both have a black headband. CLEAR has a totally clear front frame with black and clear stripes on the side arms, fading to the solid black headband. TAN has a solid tan front frame, with a back leopard overprint only on the front and left and right sides of the frame... the inside, bottom edge, and top edge of the front frame is solid tan. The headband is solid black, and is a little deeper.

Fully closed, they are wider and shorter than the original CliC reader... 150mm across the temple, and 180mm long. They can be extended to 200 mm (original CliC readers start at 190mm and can be extended to 210mm). I found them comfortable; my friend who normally wears the classic or the XXL reader found them to be wide enough, but a little too short for his head to be comfortable.
