"Light of Day" started out with just the orchid, one of my boyfriend's favorite flowers. Other than that, I really hadn't thought about what else would find its way onto the canvas. Of course I knew there would be a guy, either naked or mostly so. But the orchid was my inspiration. I wanted to portray some kind of connection between the flower and the man. For that, I decided on the light of day... both stretching to embrace its warmth." -Michael Breyette
